Welcome to our new look website. We hope that you will enjoy finding out more about Newtownbreda and take an opportunity to share in fellowship through the many activites we have going on in the church. We seek to be a welcoming congregation and if you are visiting with us on a Sunday morning you are more than welcome to join us for some light refreshments after the service in the foyer of our new suite of halls.
By Way of Introduction
Newtownbreda church is situated in the Rosetta area of south-east Belfast. It is on the left hand side as you travel south from the roundabout where the Ravenhill Road joins the Ormeau Road.
A congregation of over 500 families, we enjoy a spirit of friendship among ourselves and openness towards our neighbours and the local community.
We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 1992 under the title "Inspired, Rejoicing, Renewed in Christ", pledging to continue the Spirit's work into the new millennium. In 2007 we officially opened our new suite of halls incorporating meeting rooms, offices and a beautiful foyer which is used as reception area.
We meet in the foyer after the Sunday morning service for a chat over tea and coffee and on some Sunday evenings we worship in the foyer.
